llm11 vs Langfuse
Open-source tracing that shows you what happened, against a layer that intervenes while it happens.
What Langfuse is
Open-source LLM observability: tracing, prompt management, cost tracking and evaluation hooks, self-hostable or cloud, and the leading choice in its category.
What Langfuse does better
- Genuinely excellent tracing, with a depth of debugging detail we do not attempt.
- Open source and self-hostable, with prompt management and dataset tooling attached.
- It observes your whole application, not just the model call we happen to sit in front of.
What llm11 does differently
- Observability is read-only by construction. It tells you a bad answer shipped; it does not stop it shipping.
- Our per-request record is the by-product of a gate that already acted, not a trace you review afterwards.
- Cost figures on our receipts are what the provider charged for that call, compared against your declared baseline on the same tokens.
Pick llm11 when
You already know your failure modes and want something to act on them in the request path.
Pick Langfuse when
You need to understand what your application is doing across every step, not only the model calls.
Positioning and pricing checked September 2026. Nothing on this page is a benchmark claim: how a product is built and sold is checkable, and a performance multiple measured by whoever is selling it is not. If something here is out of date, tell us at hello@llm11.com and we will correct it.
